AEG Dark Sun?

Hopefully we'll eventually see all of TSR's old worlds get picked up.

While many probably didn't sell enough to suit TSR (or WOTC, or Hasbro), they could do okay for a smaller company.

Yeah it looked like the fan site was getting very close to getting a decent amount of info out. Guess all we can do is wildly speculate or wait for official word. ;)

I was never a fan of the old Dark Sun setting and won't be buying any d20 version, but I think it is good that it will be out there for the people who like it and want an "official" d20 upgrade. I hear White Wolf/Arthaus may be picking up the Top Secret license from WoTC, though I doubt it will compete as well against AEG's Spycraft, or d20 Modern, which both have the jump in release dates on any Top Secret product.

why won't someone pick up dragonlance? WHY!?
Dragonlance is one of the (3) worlds WotC is holding onto.
(the others being Forgotten Realms and Greyhawk.)
You'll notice they even still have their own page on the website.

And they still have novels coming out.

Hmm wonder what that holds for the "official fan site" that is working on a 3e conversion for Dark Sun?
I hope AEG will ignore athas.org and do a proper conversion of the setting, without skills like "Gather Energy" and with Defiler and Preserver as separate classes.
