AEG: Have you ever thought about EDITING your products?

As for thier one word books, i like em, Gods sucked and so did Monsters, but i was able to pick-up a copy of Mercenaries at Origins, the thing that its thicker the the PHB, almost the size of the ELH. i was almost certain that the thing would be full of all kinds of errata, but i only found minor issues, and misspelled words. all in all, it was much better done that most of thier books. so when it hits the shelves i do promote it!

What's Mercenaries like? I haven't seen it out in the local stores yet. The little blurb I read made it sound interesting, but since that was blurbs are supposed to do I don't really trust them.

Its the editing part that gives me nightmares...
Even the big companies fall prey to the pitfalls of rushed editing, such as typos, or flat-out omissions (Look in WotC's Sword and Fist for the Halfling Outrider's BAB, for example...{hint: there isn't one}). We're considering a one month delay just to give the editing the time it deserves. An ambitious release schedule should never be an excuse for poor editing.

Yeah, the quality of AEG's products varies wildly. I have Spycraft, ShadowForce Archer, and MAG (modern arms guide). These are great books, though the MAG trails far behind the other two.
A friend of mine has Dragons and War. Though i haven't studied them thoroughly, i've looked through War twice and found little use for it. Dragon was better but suffered from game mechanics, er, malfunctions.
But as long as the Spycraft continues its high quality production value, i will be quite happy. I'm not interested in their other products. :)
