Affected Creatures from a Turn

If two clerics are side-by-side and attempt to turn undead one right after the other, does the second cleric's turn overlap with the first, or does it only affect undead not already turned?

How do you determine which undead are turned first?

Is it the players choice? Lowest HD? Highest HD? And what page explains this? Thanks.

It is not based on lowest HD. You turn the closest turnable undead first. This is explained on page 139 in the PH.

For example, let's say a wight and 3 zombies are approaching a cleric. The wight is in the lead, 20 feet away, 2 of the zombies are 50 feet away, and the 3rd zombie is 70 feet away. The cleric's turning check is high enough to turn them all. Whatever his damage roll is, he will affect the wight first because it is the closest turnable undead, then the two zombies 50 feet away. He cannot turn the 3rd zombie yet, because it is beyond the range of 60 feet.
