Anyone know how to print these off in a convenient format? (i.e., not 8 pages to a map)
Just tell your print driver to fit the map to a page. Or resize it, if you want a size different from one page.

So, when's the adventure coming, eh? Anyone heard anything on the WOTC boards?
I don't think there's ever been any statements that there will be a conversion of G123, as far as I've know. Tome of Horrors and White Plume Mountain were converted and posted at the WotC boards quite a while ago, but there's no indication any more are being worked on. Who knows?

I agree. Old maps being converted is definitely not a sufficient hint at an upcoming conversion. Many maps from old TSR products have been showing up in the map column up to now.

They wouldn't have to post it on line. I'd buy it if it was a hard copy product.

Thanks,

I did better. I bought the compiled 1E Queen of the Spiderweb Pits book/pdf and am using the WOTC maps for my kids/wife. I'm running Castles and Crusades, but it wouldn't be horribly difficult for a 3E DM to convert, most of it is stock MM's after all. Then you could probably use the class builds from other modules to use for the classed NPC's such as the "Master of the Spider Hounds" and the 15th level wizard in Istivin, etc....

Sure, it wouldn't exactly be a snap to do, but still not all that difficult if you cannibalize from your Dungeon magazines, your other modules, or the on-line NPC wiki. If you stay away from the Slavelords module connections the vast majority of your stuff is just standard monsters, most of which, if not all, are available in 3.5 form somewhere. Of course you would have to adjust the gold and magic items, probably upwards, since this would probably have to start at a considerably higher level in 3E.

For any C&Cers reading this, I'm running it straight from the module. The only real difference is that the 1E xp awards are about 20% higher than C&C. For the monsters. NPC's have been low in a number of cases so far. I have found that the THACO has either been exactly equal to the conversion formula or off by 1, one higher so far. So a THACO 13 means they have a +7 to hit, which has been equal to their HD most of the time. So easy for C&C users to convert. You 1E and OSRIC players have it easiest, though. :D
