Off the top of my head...

It seems that monks can use Ki power to get additional attacks. At one point, I think James attacked 4 times using 3 ki points. Ki power replenishes after short rest.

The fighter attacked 2x per round (wasn't sure if he was duel wielding or if that was just a feature). He had an action surge (not sure how often if this replenishes after short rest or what have you) which gave him a 2nd set of attacks...so at one point he attacked 4 times.

They discussed/brainstormed some exploration rules that gave each PC a chance to do something that helped the party, so when the thief was stealthy, he could help the others be stealthy too. Rodney said that his roll would be used for the whole party, but after the game they discussed it and Mearls didn't like the way it felt as DM.

The rogue's Cunning Action is very interesting and can be used each turn. (forgot exactly what actions it allowed...sneak, use item, rush somewhere or move extra, etc.

Some interesting stuff.

Iirc halfing luck could be used every round.

I think that was because Rodney kept rolling 1s!!!

What else... PCs are damn hard to kill, not only does monster math suck, but Jame's monk was on a wagon that blew up for 6d6, taking him to 8, he then took 18 to take him to 0... No neg hps. Before his round he was cured to 20 (again no neg hps)... Got up, ran at at BBEG and attacked him with ki multi attack....

The BBEG could deal out serious damage and definitely soak it... Don know if this was a function of level or "elite" monster

The halfling made the "stealth" check for the whole party... Mike was not impressed with that design feature. He also seemed to think bless was a litte over powered... Get the feeling a lot of the specific design features are coming from other members of he team and mike is more focused on the brand.

Fun to watch and it looks like it will be every Friday ....
