First Post
I am working on an Agent series of merits for Officers, Spies, etc. Basically you have access to lots of stuff because you work for an agency, not because you actually own it.
Does anyone have any additional ideas?

Merit points
LA 1 – 4
LA 2 – 8
LA 3 - 12

Agent
You have access and influence to equipment that is not normally available but you are subject to orders. This would be social status for the military. Your level also determines your clearance.
LA 1 gives you local control or influence, a lower level Military Officer, Medium Lifestyle
LA 2 gives you access to more restricted items (spycraft, NID, etc), Medium Lifestyle
LA 3 gives you control over military forces (Generals, Admirals, etc), High Lifestyle

Merits
Hidden Stash – You have a Hidden Stash of money and weapons that you have squirreled away between missions that your organization doesn't know about.
Explosives – You have access to explosives from your organization.
Heavy Weapons – You have access to heavy weapons.
False Identities - You have a set of false identities.
Influence - You have some influence in your organization.

Dangerous Workplace – Your workplace is full of intrigue and dangerous back biting that could get you killed.

Here are some other catagories of Merits:

Inventor
An Inventor in this system is someone who can create things from a tech level beyond what they are living in. This can be because you are a genius or because you are from the future or at least from a culture at another tech level. Just because you know that certain things will or could exist doesn't make you an Inventor. You have to be able to communicate those ideas to others and have enough understanding of these principles to create the invention with the current technology.
The way that this is handled in Nexus is you must take an LA for each level above the one you are living in. So if you were from the Modern Age and you went back to the Steel Age you would have to take +2 LA during character creation in order to create Modern Age equipment in the Steel Age. For each tech level LA you take you can take feats and merits from that tech level. You still need to take those feats in order to build things.

Possessions
You have special possessions that are not normally available. LA 1 gives you access to unusual and restricted items (ie Black market connections, etc), LA 2 gives you access to very special items (magic items if they are unknown or only for Nobles), and LA 3 gives you access to things that are not available anywhere else on the planet (Alien Technology, Time Machines, etc.)
There are also general Possessions that are not really restricted but they do take up a merit point. You don't need to buy an LA to get these. You can get them with feats or from other Categories. The other levels require that you take an LA in order to get that.
You can take possession merits more then once and that will give you another one of that merit.

General
Extra Starting Cash – Each point in this will give you your starting cash again.
Workshop – You have a workshop that will allow you to work on larger projects.
Safe House – You have a place to fall back to that no one connects with you.

Social Status
Your culture hold social status as important. There is a bonus to social rolls over and above the lifestyle bonus. If the character is out of their country and in a place that doesn't favor royalty then don't add this bonus or half it in some places. To poor characters in some places the Lifestyle bonus becomes negative instead.
LA 1 is Low Noble/Merchant (+4), High Lifestyle (+4), Total Social Bonus +8
