Agreements between lawful good and evil

Contracts in and of themselves are neutral things. Now, if the contract was to murder, steal, or do any number of other evil things it would be contrary to the LG character's alignment.

However, in this instance, the contract was entered out of the desire for order and to vanquish the evil without having to fight both of them at the same time... Though the enemy of your enemy may not always be your *friend* they can certainly be your ally.

Thanks everyone, I know they were broad questions.

Yes, I encountered this in the game I was playing, but I really appreciated the comments and thoughts of how others view things outside the specific game setting.

I don't really play alignment, so I find it cool to see how people who do think/decide actions to suit alignment and how others act and then figure out alignment.
