Yeah, my company went out and bought sanitizer bottles for each work station, plus some for the entrances/break rooms/washrooms, when the swine flu broke out. I love it, I grabbed a bottle for my car as well, hate gassing up then getting in the car without at least sanitizing

I carry a bottle in each car as well...and every time I use my debit card and have to touch those buttons or touch pads, I sanitize! I have a theory that lots of germs are being passed on by those things.

Yeah, for sure. Doorknobs too, watch out for them. I'm always amazed how few people wash their hands after going the washroom (and no just splashing water for a few seconds isn't washing your hands)

If I can possibly avoid it, I refuse to touch a restroom door. I've seen so many people go from urinal to doorhandle that it actually nauseates me(I'm not exactly a 'cleanfreak' but certain things produce a radical response in me anyway), and will go so far as to attempt to open a doorknob with my sneaker if I can possible avoid looking like a mental case in so doing. (I prefer restroom doors I can kick open(i.e. pull to open from outside, push to open from inside, no doorknob) as I find I can avoid unwashing my hands this way.

And yes, I can be sorta OCD about that stuff.

i have seen recommendations to use the same paper towl that you dry your hand with be used to open the door with then throw that away.

just dont anyone tell me they put all of their door knobs in the dishwasher to be sanitized.

Good advice, pity I'll forget by the next time I need to remember it. Oh, that and the fact that trashcans usually aren't close enough to the doors for me to do reach them... I'd have to toss them on the floor... for the janitors to deal with.

Dishwasher? No, I don't put doorknobs in myself or relatives. >.> Oh wait, you mean those newfangled electronic things that wash things besides clothes without human action. Yeah, don't have one of those things, so no, no worries there DeWar.

That's the one thing I like about the restrooms at the office...they are completely hands free. Don't even have doors on them! Just a long hall. :D

Hmm I made all those things, but if you have an actual life and have to go to work or walk in the streets, there is no alcohol gel that will save your butt. I've seen many people walking with their faces covered etc... But not any more, people are not afraid anymore now.
Somos hijos del rigor, that's what my grany says.
