First Post
Anyone know any movies, cartoon shows or animated movies (other than anime) that has airships? Comics or Graphic Novels is ok also. I know there is Stormhawks, Final Fantasy games, Sky Captain and Stardust but any others?

Thanks

Erm it's not any of the forms of media you listed, but the Doctor Who season 2 two-parter Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel quite strongly features airships in an alternate reality modern day Earth.

As for movies The Rocketeer's grand finale takes place aboard a Nazi Zepellin.

Zeppelins are not the type of airships I'm talking about. More fantasy or futuristic looking in design and function or a mix of the two is what I am think of.

I guess i need more of a clue as to what you are looking for. Are you thinking Zeppelins and Blimps or are you thinking flying ships like the Weatherlight from Magic the Gathering?

They show up quite prominently in Phil Foglio's Girl Genius. Castle Wulfenbach is a giant airship.

IIRC the season finale of Venture Brothers Season 3 featured an airship in a flashback.

The video game "Skies of Arcadia" features one.

Master of the World, the movie, older movie.

Some of Michael Moorcock Jerry Cornelius stories.

Hollowed Earth roleplaying game, zepplins are big.

Earthdawn roleplaying game.

World of WarCraft has them.

Popular Science issue not that long ago had the new and improved zepplin, these are monsters!

Oh, found this:

There was a daytime kids Disney cartoon that involved a lot of airplane/airships. I forget the name.

Flash Gordon, the movie, could be considered I would guess.
