Name: Rocio Lee
Age: 30
Description: Rocio stands about six foot one, with short cut black hair, and brown eyes. Or rather, eye, as her left eye is missing, covered by an eyepatch. An elaborate tattoo of a dragon surounds it. Her dressing habits are random, and range from simple and comfortable to elaborate, depending on her mood.
Background: Rocio has had a very interesting career before she became an air racer.
Her first job was as a member of the Hong Kong police force where she signed up at the age of twenty-two. Scoring high grades on the extrance tests and passing through the academy with ease, everybody thought she was going on to big things in the police.
And so she was, for six years. Going from traffic officer, some time in training for hostage neogitator and two years on an aerial unit, she was admired by nearly everybody on the force as a truly dedicated police officer. This wasn't the whole truth. In fact, Rocio was only in the police force because she craved excitement, and her frequent transfers to other divisions, and requests for training in aditional specialities happened as she found.
Then, everything came crashing down. Six years after she joined up, she was off duty and heading home, when she saw a mugging process. She stopped her car as he ducked into an alley, and chased him three blocks, before he pulled a knife. She shot him twice, as he came at her, but didn't stop him in time before he slashed her face. She shot him a third time, killing him, before she collapsed.
When she woke up, she was in the hospital, being told that she'd lost her right eye. When she got out of the hospital, she found that she'd been permanently assigned to a desk job, due to her physical disability. She handed in her rensignation the next day, and dropped out of the public view.
For six months, she languished, trying a variety of sports, until one day, she saw a newspaper report on an aerial race that had happened in Hon Kong, and she got hooked on the idea.
Thanks to a few prudent investments, she had enough cash to get started. She reacquired her pilot's license, and set about breaking into the air racing business.
She's been at it for six months now, and is fairly popular. She's written a number of articles on the subject for various magazines as well. All she craves is excitement, win or lose, the race was worthwhile as long as you had fun finishing. That's her motto.
