[gm]I know the file size is kind of big (1.63 MB). I think I am figuring out a few ways to make it smaller though. Future maps shouldn't be so big.[/gm]You head up the stairs to the door and listen to see what you can hear on the other side. You can hear muffled chatter, shuffling of papers, and soft foot steps. It sounds as if some sort of office is on the other side of the door. There seems to be no other way around it. You'll be causing a ruckus, but at least you have the advantage of surprise. Lining up on the stairs behind the door, you prepare to enter, weapons in hand in case of hostilities, as soon as Lia opens the door. As the door flies open you see a large office inside of what was probably once a sanctuary. There are large paned glass windows alongside the walls which you can imagine were once decorated with various stained-glass or wired windows. Along the walls are bookcases filled with various tomes, scrolls, stationary, and writing supplies. Where pews once stood are rows of desks. Behind some of them are clerks busy copying invoices, approving plans, and pouring over marketing strategies. A few armed guards line the room; it is clear this place has good security. Everything in the room stops after the door flings open. Some of the clerks stare at you with wide-eyed faces. One in the corner drops a book he was perusing out of surprise. The guards turn to you with a quizzical glance, then ready their weapons. "You there!" one of the sergeants shouts, "you aren't supposed to be down there! The vast majority of the clerks are human. The guards are all human. Given the current predilections of your party, I will assume you are striking to subdue rather than kill unless you tell me otherwise.
