From what I hear, artificer isn't in the book yet, but when I playtested the UA version, it was pretty ridiculous. Add in Dragonmarks and the warforge, and you can see how things can start to get unbalanced.What do you mean by lower creep?
I just realized you meant power creep. I don't think power creep will be an issue because I think at the very least races and maybe classes/subclasses while be allowed for any setting, like Changeling Artificers in FR and Elven Bladesingers in Eberron.
Which was not well received by the players. So having done it once, they're not incentived to do it like that again.We actually have presidency for Setting hopping, from FR to Ravenloft and Back again.
