Hi everyone, I am not able to make it to the Albany gaming day, but normally would think of it since I live in Southern Vermont. A couple of items that might be usefull to the discussion. I believe that I recently recieved a postcard about Council of Five Nations, so it still appears to be going. My biggest complaint when I attended was the concentration of wargamers. I went as a GM to run 2 RPG events and had ZERO Players. I have nothing against wargaming (I play several different Wargames), but there seemed to be a distinct lack of RPG Players. I have not gone back since.... Also, for perople interested in RPG events check out http://www.carnagecon.com/ This is run by a group of my friends and has been going on for several years now. In fact when the convention first started, and I had more time, I was one of the people who coordinated the RPG area. The resort that they are at is nice, and there are usually games for everyone. There is still a big RPGA presence, but there are still many DM's who run non-RPGA events. In fact I will be running 2 slots of a conversion of the Tomb of Horrors to 3.5 Sorry if anyone thinks this is a hijack, but I thought this was an appropriate thread to mention this since the posters are all from the Albany/Troy area. Have Fun on your Game day, and if anyone wants more info (from a GM/Player perspective) on Carnage give me a yell. spectre72 (at) adelphia (dot) net BTW if anyone is interested at seeing the work of our local gaming group you can go to http://www.rutins.com/arggh/
