Alderac Entertainment Group – Fantasy Setting?

wasn't AEG putting out some really big 4 -book fantasy setting this summer? I remember reading about it in Dragon last year (well seeing the advertisements). But nothing is on there site (that I can find). I think they had a players, DM, monster manuel and setting book planned.

Am I smoking something or have I got the wrong company/time/place or what? Anyone got any scoops? I ask because I was interested in it...

Yeah, that Accordians setting. I found it last time I browsed AEG's site; it should still be there.

Is the accordlands going to be d20/OGL or a different system?

Good question. The Alderac website isn't clear on that. Ironically, literally as I'm typing the banner ad is for that setting. Check out http://www.warlordrpg.com/ for official info.

I thought it was going to be standard d20, plus addional core classes, races, welks, etc. (At least, I could have sworn I read that)

"New mechanics are presented alongside old mechanics for easy reference. This is the only book a player needs! (300 pages, full color, hardbound)" suggests to me maybe it will be OGL rather than d20, although the distinction is legal rather than mechanical.

This one's been in the "coming soon" status for quite a while. I'm sure it was a big undertaking to upgrade it to 3.5 rules, so that couldn't have helped. All the same, I hope they have it out by GenCon. I'd love to sit in on a game with the AEG crew.

I agree. It seems like most of the things I'm interested in these days are campaign settings (just to mine for ideas) and this one, Eberron and Iron Kingdoms if it ever gets released, are pretty much what I'm planning on buying this year.
