I don't get it - is it an archeological documentary with dramatization or a straight drama?

Its a documentary, but Netflix when overboard on the dramatization, and apparently did a naughty word job on a lot of things, like Persans spears (way too short, should have been 5 meters long), turbans weren't right either, nor Scimitars which weren't introduced to the area by the Mongolians until the Middle Ages, I hear.

Well, everyone looks pretty white, too - but that's par for the course.

Its only a trailer, but in the Egyptian part Alexander's guards aren't white and neither are the Persians I think.
