Hello, everyone.This new miniatures Kickstarter is live at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/161801557/alien-adventurers-32mm-resin-miniatures
The miniatures are awesome and the sculpts by Kevin Cayuela Borg are really something special, with available modifications for each mini (alternate head sculpts, hands, accessories, etc.). The miniatures are based on characters from the Breachworld RPG, but work great in a number of settings from Savage Rifts to Starfinder to anything that could use some unique and interesting nonhuman character designs. Character and Player Race writeups for each will be available for free on DriveThru for both Mini Six and Savage Worlds. The first Character Folio is actually already posted: MINI SIX version and SAVAGE WORLDS version.
What sets us apart from most miniatures Kickstarters is that our core minis are ready to go. As you can see, these printed masters are just waiting to know how many to cast and where to send them. This isn't a project that will turn into vapor or still be trying to fulfill a year from now. Even the first two Stretch Goals have modeling nearly complete.
There are a lot more photos and renders of these and the additional models on the campaign page.
The other unique thing is that this is a zero-profit Kickstarter. Every pledge dollar goes toward more miniatures. I've fronted the development costs for the first three minis and won't be recovering that investment, which is just part of my contribution to the project.
We're proud of the work we've done and are excited to run this KS over the next two weeks.

P.S. Even if you're not a minis fan, the campaign is a good way to pick up the core game and Player's Guide for cheap. All other supplements are Pay What You Want or free, so you can fill out a campaign pretty quickly.
