Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

My only issue with the show was that it didn't end. I wish shows would complete a single story by the end of their arc.
I agree - I like that seasons have a complete story, even as they leave threads to picked up in the future. Fast Horses is a great example of how to do it, IMO.

That said, I did think season 1 of this show gave us a fairly complete arc, in that by the end we know the kids are in charge with their pet xenomorph, and it is strongly implied that Wendy is turning into a villain.

Leaving the central story unfinished between seasons is especially irrtating to me in the age of streaming. Sometimes it has been so long since the last season that I've forgotten where we were, or lost interest altogether. It was a bit more viable in the era of network TV when you only had to wait a few months to learn who shot Mr. Burns.

It didn't remotely feel complete to me, but I understand what you're saying, and I presume that the show's creators feel the same as you do. Personally, it gave me the "Great Show; Weak Ending" feeling that is far, far too prevalent these days.

I mean, it would have been just terrible if it didn't get renewed! Which apparently was actually possible!
