This looks like a nice reboot of the original, complete with Sigourney Weaver stand-in.

I assume Romulus is the name of the space station or something.

At least it looks like they are going back to the original premise and getting away from "where did the xenomorphs come from?" It looks solid, like a bit of a mash-up of Alien and Aliens. Both of which are among my favourite films. The one character does look like a bit of a Ripley stand-in but...those are mighty big shoes to fill. We'll see.

I was seriously half-expecting an Alien/Star Trek crossover.

As usual, the trailer looks great. All Alien franchise trailers look great. Yet, there have only been exactly two good movies...

Alien Resurrection

Prometheus (is this really an Alien movie?)
Alien Covenant

That makes 6?

And then there is Alien vs Predator (actually, not bad, but then I also like Alien Resurrection, only true alien movie I really did not like was Alien 3)

and

Alien vs. Predator 2 (which I actually disliked more than Alien 3 by a LOOOONG mile).

So is that 8?

Or do the above 2 not count either in which case there are 6 or 7...

Screw it...it gets too messy trying to figure out what the next Alien Movie should be numbered as....

So...I guess that's why it's just Alien: Romulus instead of something like Alien 6 or 7, or 8 or 9
