yes but he had rules in his life and he had honour in him...

so i think he cant be chaotic
This is a common pitfall in the Law vs Chaos thing.
  • Having a code, by itself, is either irrelevant or just slightly Lawful. The latter if the code leads you to have a better structured morality (note that the Goodness or Evilness of that morality has no bearing on the issue).
  • Having an external code (Paladin's code, divine dogma, the Laws, the traditions) is highly Lawful. It means that you accept that you have to obey an external force.
  • Having a personal code is strongly Chaotic. It means that you believe that you are the arbiter of your own morality. This is an extremely individualistic stance, and therefore Chaotic. This is Marv's case.
All IMHO, of course. :)

"Kills evil people, but not innocents. Point for Neutral"

Actually this is a good towards good i believe...

even in dnd there are many classes good that backstab strike when it benefits and will
use all means to there beliefs ( good )
Take example the shadowbane classes from the complete adventurer.. there are fanatics it says it ...

So Basiclly a good char cant torture?
Even if doing so is the only way he can get vital info for a good cause?

I have even read somewhere cant ( remember ) of clerics bringing transporting vampires in there coffins at day time when they were helpless to some order of paladins for interogation and execution....

I think most people do agree that using torture is an evil act.
