I really don't like the Wizards alignment test. It is, in fact, the least favourite alignment test I've ever seen, including fan-made ones. Why? Because it tracks Good, Neutral, and Evil as separate categories (same for Lawful, Neutral, and Evil) and then it asks some questions where you can only get Good vs Neutral, or Neutral vs Evil.

My main beef is the questions where you can only get Neutral vs the alignment you think your character is *not*. Here's why: Let's say your character is Good. You see the Neutral vs Evil question that has four choices. Since most of the choices are really evil, you pick the most good one and get +2 to Neutral (the other choices gave +1 Neutral, +1 Evil, +2 Evil). You'll almost surely do this every time. Now the Good vs Neutral question. Let's say you aren't a complete saint (or maybe your Chaotic or Lawful side prevent you from picking the +2 Good choice), so you don't pick the completely self-sacrificng highest Good choice that would be Exalted, you just pick the +1 Good choice. This usually happens, and you get pegged as Neutral by the test because they just pick the category with the highest score out of Good, Neutral, and Evil without looking at the other two. Happens a huge amount of the time (See EternalKnight). But let's say my "Good" character goes back and changes two or three of the Neutral vs Evil questions to be utterly Vile and as Evil as can be. It isn't enough to push you to Evil, so guess what? Now you're Neutral Good :uhoh:

Whoops, it seems I'm Neutral Evil! I'd advise you all not to trust me. Unless, of course, I think it would inconvenience me to give you that advice.
