All 3.5, all the time

While we're at it, can we get a separate forum for Hivemind threads? There are always three or four on the main page, and they don't have anything to do with dnd anyway.

;) :D :p

anyway, bottom line, for now I'd say just keep using [3.0] or [3.5 / r3e] tags and let the threads follow their natural progression and if it becomes needed through use then the forum would get a split...

I agree. :)

A more appropriate title than 3.5 IMO.

More appropriate or not, there's also a marketing issue here. White Wolf alredy has a bunch of "Revised" games. While I don't expect there's any IP issues here, I can understand wanting to keep D&D different for brand recognition sake.

Can we just give everybody their own forum? We could just break it down by person and have 12,000 different forums that only allow the member who's name is attached to it to start threads there.:D

I've yet to refer to it as 3.5 (well, okay. Guess that's one). I've used 3ER or just "the revisoon" from the start. Remember Smokey the Bear: "Only you can prevent stupid names."

... or something.

'cause that's all they are.

And 3.0 was just Monte, Johnathan, and Skip's House Rules. And 2e was just Zeb's House Rules, and 1E was Gary and Dave's house rules...

Minor changes to specific things constitute house rules. Whole new systems are just that.
