ALL THE BRICKS - OOC

Okay, so it has to repeat the complex action each turn that it's suppressing then? I couldn't tell if it was a power that it activated as a complex action, and that then lasted half it's rating and then turned off...or if it had to activate the power each turn it was to be used.

Alrighty then, just checking. :)

Thanks!

I'm going to rule that it has to "refresh" the power on each of its passes (kind of like suppressing fire). If it has a pass and doesn't use its complex action to suppress then all the queued IC launch, rolling initiative (with the -10 per completed pass as usual).

Till, my apologies. The pdf was first iteration of Lum and the text was updated a couple of times after. I should have deleted or updated the pdf as well to avoid confusion. I'm sorry to be causing you extra work.

Okay, so I could use some input from the meatworld.

I am weighing two options for this pass:

1) Use a complex action to attempt to Spoof the train couple between our car and the civilian cars behind us. Detached, they will begin to lose speed and fall behind. It will eventually carry them out of combat...especially when I turn the brakes on those cars next chance I get.

2) Use a simple action to prime FUTBOL for action, so he delays and ambushes the spider when he appears. Then another simple action to...I dunno, check overwatch or something. Not much I can do with a simple action at this point. :)

The advantage of the first is that it moves D0's plan forward quickly, and potentially makes the situation in meatland a bit less desperate. The disadvantage is that when the spider jacks in, if he rolls well, he could potentially have an action before Death Otter can sic FUTBOL on him. A lot could go wrong with that action. :)

The advantage of the second is that it pretty much guarantees that FUTBOL gets the first action, and he hits like a Mack truck. Again, a bit of luck on that roll and that spider could immediately be in a bad way, and ripe for a Resonance Spike to pick him off...which would give D0 a pretty free hand to act until the Suppression ends. The disadvantage is that it delays her getting us off this death train and to somewhere our rigger can have a car waiting for us, and it doesn't help with the gunfire goons any.

Thoughts?

U SHUD REPNT!! (>_<)

...

That said, the moral of this story is DEFINITELY to get some registered sprites. Technomancers don't have the die pools of cyberdecks, but sprites sure do!

Ha! My next action was going to be to ask Death Otter where they were going to end up so that Lum could have the van waiting. I would favor getting off the train sooner rather than later.

The fuzz is still in the first car, and you can be sure they're gonna start busting down the door soon! I recommend Faust uses his grenade launcher to send us to Valhalla quickly.

Im not sure how moral we are trting to be but isnt there a train chasing us? If we disengage wouldnt it collide and idk kill all the innocent people? Lol
