Message: <blockquote data-quote="Deset Gled" data-source="post: 8541837" data-attributes="member: 7808">I thinks it's related to the lawsuit that started last year involving Luke and GaryCon.  <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/luke-gygax-statement-about-recent-garycon-concerns.683101/" target="_blank">D&D General - Luke Gygax statement about recent GaryCon concerns.</a>The real meat of the lawsuit is about Servotronics and their CEO Ken Trbovich.  Ken was previously heavily involved in GaryCon, and part of the lawsuit is that he was misusing Servotronics funds for his personal gain.  This includes money he spent on GaryCon as well as some less than legal wining-and-dining activities that allegedly took place (possibly over the course of the con).The part where it overlaps his Luke's military pension is that GaryCon did charitable auctions for The Wounded Warrior Project.  If it can be proven that Ken illegally channeled funds to Luke that lead to illegal practices for charity fundraising, it could get Luke in trouble with the WWP and, theoretically, with his veteran status.But there's a lot of dots to connect there, and it's all based in family drama within Servotronics.  Trbovich is no longer part of GaryCon.  It may be annoying for Luke to disentangle himself from the mess, but I doubt it would go that badly (unless there are some serious details we haven't heard about yet).</blockquote>
