A fight in a Concordia University dorm leaves one student injured and another facing felony charges.
According to court records, the dispute started over some golf balls in a dormitory hallway. One student, identified as Andrew Hisserich, apparently told two other students to take their golf outside. An hour later, Hisserich allegedly took a pair of nunchaku out of his room and started hitting one of the students.
Nunchaku, commonly referred to as "nun-chuks," are an Asian fighting weapon consisting of two solid round clubs held together end-to-end by a chain.
Another student reportedly pulled Hisserich off, only to have Hisserich allegedly start wailing on the first student again until he got physically sick.
Hisserich is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. School officials say that could result in additional discipline against Hisserich on campus.
