Alter Self suggestions?

A minotaur is a monstrous humanoid and 6 HD, not eligable for Alter Self, unless Dragonlance minotaur's are different to standard ones.

You could also try the Skulk from Monster Manual II, I believe. Only +3 natural armor, but +20 Hide as a racial bonus.

You tell me? I didn't check the stats, and I don't remember them off by heart, but I do know they're 6 HD and monstrouss humanoids. Now I know! ;)

You don't get the physical ability scores of the form with Alter Self, but I will be sure to check this beastie out.

The Dragonlance Minotaurs are humanoid, and significantly different compared to the MM Minotaur. They are a race of bull-headed, seafaring people.
