Alternate Class Feature from PH II

Okay. But, if that's the case, then why does the description list that you keep BAB, Base saves, etc. Why doesn't it assume we already know you keep those elements. Skill ranks are also listed as being kept, but why list those things and NOT list Feats if you keep Feats?

The wording is a bit tricky. I just looked at it myself and where it talks about feats it uses this wording:

"...you gain X as a bonus feat while in this form."

To me, a "bonus" is something extra and that seems to be the case here. The only reason that I can think of that they state that you keep the other items is in case some people might actually use that particular animal's stat block for the PC instead of the PC's abilities.

It should be more clear, but that's my take on it.
