Alternate class features overview?

I'm going to be helping a few players create characters for a campaign soon. They are good roleplayers but unfamiliar with DnD - I'm quite familiar with DnD. They tend to come up with character concepts that are interesting but don't really fit into the DnD "class" framework directly, so I'll have to do some creative multiclassing and prestige classing to help them make their characters. To help me with this, I thought I'd look for a list of alternate class features, what class they come off of, what they replace, and what they do... but am unable to search up such a list using Google. My Google-fu may be weak, so I ask you mighty rules-forum EN worlders...

Is there a list somewhere online that catalogues all available alternate class features, which book they're from, what they replace, and what they do?

Unearthed Arcana would be a good place to start. It is full of variant class stuff. It's always at my gaming table.

Thanks,
Rich

Thanks.

I'm sure that'll help me a lot... but there are a lot of alternate class features from other published sources. What I was looking for was something more like the feat index and the prestige class index available at Wizards' site, but for alternate class features, however.

And don't forget. You're the DM. It's totally up to you to allow various things to come together how you want. If you think that they should be allowed to become a wizard with spontaneous casting of fire spells in return for the loss of their familiar, go for it!

Yeah, I know. It's just nice to know exactly what is already available out there, so I don't duplicate effort. But thanks for your input!
