Am I a "Needy" DM? ;)

Hello all,

Thanks for the advice -- sorry for venting, it was obviously a whiny post to begin with (I tried to put it over the top into self-parody, but still, it's whiny. ;) )

I've talked to one of the casual gamers and told her that there'll be a good story-point where she could drop out in about three sessions (at the end of their current adventure). She's complained that the game's not at a convenient time and place for her -- she'd prefer it to be on weekends at a place closer to her, rather than weeknights, and she claims that her friend who flaked out could get re-involved then too -- but frankly, I AIN'T REARRANGING THE GAME TIME TO ACCOMODATE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE FLAKING OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! ;) So I'm going to try to provide a graceful in-character opportunity for her character to leave -- and if she doesn't show up for that game night, screw it. Her character will just leave. Or maybe die between then and now. Whatever.

That leaves four people playing, and those four people are pretty dedicated. I think it'll go pretty well with them. I'd personally prefer if there were more players, but that's the whole reason the group was so big and cumbersome in the first place.

Thanks!

Jason
