Am I gonna make it past 20th level?

Hey, just thought I'd try and get some input on my latest PC. My concept is a Soulknife/Nomad (Psionic character through and through). Ideally I would like to fulfill that elusive fighter/magic-user role, though my magic will be focused on telelportation-like powers.

Campaign starts at level 2, but DM says he wants us to go epic (eventually). His concern is that I'm not looking at the big picture and that the mindblade will fall behind as a primary weapon rather quickly. He is cool with most complete books, all the eberron books, and we are playing 3.5.

Here's my character Malhad (we rolled for stats, 4d6 drop lowest):

Kalashtar Soulknife 1/Nomad 1

Str 15 [+2]
Dex 14 [+2]
Con 14 [+2]
Int 17 [+3]
Wis 13 [+1]
Cha 13 [+1]

HP: 17
AC: 15
Init: +2
Movement: 30 ft.
Power Points: 7
Powers: 1- Detect Psionics, Distract, Energy Ray, Dimension Hop* (Source: Complete Psionic).

Atk: +3 Mindblade (1d6+2, 19-20/x2)
or +3 Mwk. Lt. Crossbow (1d8, 20/x2)

Feats: Soulblade Warrior**. Source: Races of Eberron
Bonus Nomad Feat: Extradimensional Space (like a minor bag of holding, but requires Psionic Focus expenditure to get things). Source: Mind's Eye on www.wizards.com
Bonus Soulknife Feats: Hidden Talent (As Wild Talent, but you also learn a 1st level power from any list) [Dimension Hop*], Weapon Focus (Mind Blade)

Skills: Autohypnosis +5, Concentration +7, Hide +6, Knowledge (Psionics) +10, Move Silently +6, Psicraft +7, Spot +5, Swim +3, Tumble +6.

*Dimenion Hop
Psychoportation (Teleportation)
Level: Freedom 1
Display: Auditory
Manifesting Time: 1 swift action
Range: 10 feet
Target: You
Duration: Instantaneous
Power Points: 1
With a soft chime, you disappear and reappear nearby.

You instantly move to an unoccupied square up to 10 feet away within line of sight.

Augment:
For every additional power point you spend, you can move an additional 5 feet.

**Soulblade Warrior [Racial]
The spirit of a quori warrior grants you deadly speed and combat prowess with your mind blade.
Prerequisites: Kalashtar, ability to generate a mind blade.
Benefit: You can manifeste your mind
blade as a swift action, and your effective soulknife level is increased by 2 for the purpose of the mind blade enhancement class feature if you have it (though this bonus doesn't grant you the ability to enhance your mind blade before 6th level).
When you spend an action point to influence an attack roll made with your mind blade, you also add the result of the action point roll to your damage for that attack.
Normal: Manifesting a mind blade is a move action.

So, my plan is to take another Soulknife level after my Int goes up so I can raise my Tumble and Autohypnosis skills exclusively as well as enhance my MindBlade to +1. After that I will probably continue to get Nomad levels to get up to Fly, Dimension Door, and eventually Plane Shift and Teleport. Then I may want to continue Soulknife, honestly many of the higher-level powers (beyond Greater Teleport and Anticipate Teleport) don't really interest me. As my DM points out, my mindblade will be way behind by the time I start taking Soulknife levels again.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Why not multiclass in psywar instead of nomad? Granted, Wis becomes your primary stat, but your BAB and hit points are then much more suited for melee.

Nomad is my concept - I really want the teleportation abilities, flying, and I think some of the little abilities (like Dimension Swap) look like fun. My DM has urged me to multi psion with: fighter, rogue or psywar but the fact is Soulknife gives me a cool ability, good skills, and the same bab as all but fighter. Fighter is tempting, but I lose out on Tumble and Autohypnosis (which the Psion (Nomad) does not get as class skills) and don't get any actual power points or powers.

If I could take 2 levels of Fighter and get the Hidden Talent feat (learning me Dimensional Hop), it might be worth it. But I think I'd still miss the mind-blade ;)
