The Princess feels the warmth of the sun wipe away any bruises from being struck earlier. She turns and dodges the blast from Herculan just in time. She aims, sings "Radiant Blazing Laser Beam", and hopes to take out one of the Espers.

OOC: The Princess targets whichever Esper is still standing and most banged up ranged +10, 8 damage[roll0] vs DC 18 Dodge (before condition modifiers) Critical hit (increases Toughness DC, right?) Toughness DC is DC 28

It's no good! She can see me when I'm invisible! And as long as she can see me...

Kitsune paused at that. Maybe there was something she could do about that. Illusions and invisibility weren't the only things she could do with light. They were just her favorite things.

She lifted her hands as if holding something up to her face and called to the Evil Esper Clone.

"Hey! Smile for the birdie!"

And then the world exploded in light.

(using Dazzle! It's a Fort targeting Affliction 9 that Impairs, Disables or Unawares Sight. Affects every enemy (selectively) within a 30' radius, that will include as many baddies as I can get while still getting the Esper that's attacking Kitsune. Dodge resistance save DC 19; failure means DC 19 Fort save. Success means DC 14 Fort save)

Kitsune then looked for a place to jump behind for cover, just in case the gambit failed!

Silver Stream again grunted in pain as the villain Snakeroot continued to squeeze him. Luckily for Kitsune, she was able to ignore the psychic assault against her!

The Shadow and Electrocutioner continued to trade attacks upstairs but it was fairly obvious that the electrical villain was suffering the worst of the blows against the shadows of the hero. Silver Stream was still in pain and missed striking one of the Espers but Princess Starlight did land a solid blast against the villainous but again her psychic shield absorbed most of the terrible blow. It did manage to keep her somewhat unbalanced though. Kitsune threw a laser beam right into the other Esper eyes causing her to curse out loud as the heroine ducked behind some ruined desks.

The alien Herculan cursed out loud when his laser blaster gloves missed Princess Starlight again. The wounded Esper ran up towards the Princess also shouting “I am so going to kill you!!” The other Esper flew around and over the cover that Kitsune was trying to hide behind saying “You can’t hide from me mouse! Now prepare to knee before your new Mistress!” Mammoth unleashed a great and terrible blow against Felix and while the heroes armor absorbed most of the blow it still caused stars to appear before the young heroes eyes as he was rocked back a step. Snakeroot could not get a good grip on the squirming Silver Streak though… he maintained his grip but cursed not dealing any additional pain to the fast hero.

GM: [sblock=Rolls & Results]Round 4 resolutions Silver Streak missed his Toughness save by 2 degrees, he is Dazed and his Injury is -4 Kitsune made her Toughness save with a HP Round 5 Felix attacks Mammoth; Toughness save: 1D20+10 = [15]+10 = 25, succeeds no damage. Still at -1 Injury. Silver Streak missed Esper #2 with his attack The Shadow attacks Electrocutioner (needs to make a Toughness save vs. DC 18 from Reaction power); Toughness save: 1D20+6 = [8]+6 = 14, fails by two degrees so he is Dazed and -5 to future Toughness saves!!! Kitsune dazzles Esper #1; Fortitude save: 1D20+2 = [16]+2 = 18, failed by 1 degree, she is Impaired (-2 to any check requiring vision, etc.) Princess Starlight attacks Esper #2 Toughness save: 1D20+8 = [10]+8 = 18, failed by 2 degrees (vs. 28) she is now Dazed and Injury -3. Badguys Electrocutioner attacks the Shadow with his Lighting Storm, cone area (Damage +8), who needs a Dodge 18, if he makes it a toughness save vs. 19, if he fails a Toughness save vs. 23 Herculan attacks Princess Starlight with his laser gauntlets; Range, Damage +9 : 1D20+9 = [1]+9 = 10, and missed. Twice in a row! Esper #1 moves so that Kitsune does not have cover, and uses her Psychic Assault, Perception (Damage +9). Kitsune needs to make a Toughness save vs. DC 24 Esper #2 is dazed so can only more or attack so she run up to be in melee with Princess Starlight Mammoth attacks Felix (Power Attack -5 to hit, +5 to damage); Close attack, Damage +16: 1D20+3 = [9]+3 = 12, hit. Felix save vs. DC 31 Toughness save: 1D20+11 = [14]+11 = 25, failed by 2 degrees, Dazed and Injury -2 Sneakroot attacks Silver Streak; Close Damage +10: 1D20+8 = [5]+8 = 13, a miss!!! Even with Silver Streak being at ½ Active Defenses. Toughness save: 1D20+10 = [11]+10 = 21, vs. Reaction damage, he made it.[/sblock] Heroes Actions and Saves!!! Positions the Shadow and Electrocutioner are on the 145th floor. The rest of the heroes and villains are on the 140th floor… Princess Starlight, Kitsune (but around a corner and behind some cover), and Silver Streak are somewhat close to each other in the main room (Princess Starlight is near a window and within sunlight) Felix and Mammoth are in Melee with each other 40ft away Herculan is just within the building 60ft back Esper #1 is within 20ft of Kitsune and most of the rest of the heroes Esper #2 is in melee with Princess Starlight Snakeroot is 60ft away and grappling Silver Streak.

OOC: Esper #2 is about 50ft back from most of the group and less then 20ft from Kitsune. Shouldn't she be within melee range of The Princess?

Shadow was staggered as he was caught in the electrical blast from the villain. Apparently his luck had run out! It was time to try and end this.

Shadow put all his power behind his blow.

1D20+9 = [2]+9 = 11
Fail by 8 (1 degree) and by 12 (2 degrees). Ouch! That puts him at Dazed for one round and -1 Toughness.
Action: Power attack: 1D20+4 = [10]+4 = 14
That should still hit since he’s Vulnerable from being blind, right?
