Amazon.ca ?

Got the confirm of shipping email today. Left the Mississuga warehouse and is in the good hands of Canada Post as of 1:31 today.

With my luck the Postal Strike will begin tonight. ;-)

I really need a job. *sigh* :(

All this stuff coming out, not enough money of my own to buy it with, and no shelf space to put it on (my top shelf, the game material shelf, is stuffed full and noticeably sagging; I need to reorganize it).

In any event, I'm waiting until there's a resolution to the talks, and then I'll see about getting more from Amazon.ca.

Well the morning brings even stranger news. Amazon.ca emailed me yesterday to say it had shipped via canada post. This morning, after reading the newspapaer to check on the strike (which is still not happening), I recieve another e-mail.

It says due to the strike (???) they shipped my package via Purolator. And here is a $5 gift certificate as well. They gave me the tracking info, and sure enough my package is in the good courier people's hand.

So, I guess Amazon didn't want to risk peoples deliveries on a Maybe Strike and went a head and shipped via alternate means. Kudos to them.

Mine showed up this morning, via free upgrade to Purolator due to potential postal strike.

BTW, the $5 gift certificates are for the one-year anniversary of Amazon.ca and have nothingt o do with D&D 3.5.

I just got my delivery.

Amazon.ca is using Purolator until the Canada Post situation is resolved. They also messed up my order and are trying to send me a second set of books

I got that one last week too. But the $5 gift certifacte I was talking about was attached to the notice that Purolator would be delivering my books.

Which arrived at 11:58 am. Yay!

Got my books this morning too...........I was checking my order status with amazon every day, and it showed an estimated delivery date of july 24 to aug 7th...... and since I got them for 31.00 each including all taxes etc, the wait wasn't so bad
