Remember, if you use Super Saver Shipping, then Amazon views you as less than pond scum, and thus will cancel, delay, or otherwise distort your order.

Not me though, as I ordered late May, was expecting shipment July 23, but received them two weeks ago.

Who'd you sleep with to get that to happen?

I pre-ordered mine on March 23rd, and on June 6th, I got an email that my order was canceled for an undisclosed reason. My friend pre-ordered his on April 13th, and was told his wouldn't be shipping until July 22nd. Our third friend ordered his on June 8th, and received them on the 10th.

I pre-ordered the 4th Edition gift set from Amazon back in February. Now my order is delayed until August 4th. Anybody else suffering through this? Is there anyone else selling the full set for around $60? I'm not really in the mood to give Amazon any of my money right now, but I'll wait to save $30.

If you're not set on getting the boxed set, Buy.com has a pretty good deal on the individual books. $20-and-change for the DMG and MM, and $18-and-change for the PHB. Free shipping is available on orders over $25, so that works out to about $60.

However if you've never bought anything through the Google Checkout before, you can use it for your Buy.com order and get an additional $10 off, bringing the total to around $50. The Google Checkout offer expires June 30th.

That's the route I went (although Buy.com still had the boxed set in stock, so I order it instead of the individual books). Took about a week for my order to arrive with the free shipping option.

I'm not terribly surprised — they said June somethingth when they first ran out, probably based on the automatic assumption that all they needed to do was order some more. But as we know, the print run was all used up, and it's not like they magically were going to get the new ones out of the air.

Another delay here also. I'm going to be cancelling my pe-order as soon as I can get home and look up my account info. Then I'll send Amazon a far from polite e-mail to their customer service, letting them know they've lost a customer.
I don't have any real need of the 4e books, I was getting them to add to my D&D edition collection. Instead it's more of a principle, not just this order, it's with all but with one or two exceptions, everything I order from Amazon gets delayed at least once, this order just happens to be the back-breaking straw.
I'll just get the 4e books later when I feel the need (I'm sure my FLGS will appreciate the business anyway). Maybe by the time I end up purchasing them, some of those print errors will be cleared up and I won't have any need to download any errata.
