Any interesting information, like what the concept of the Adventjre was, that you were able to glean?

My understanding is the 50+ adventures are not specifically tied to the player gazette in the Heroes book. Most are tied to the 5 main mini-settings with some either being generic to be placed anywhere or in a place where they can be changed to a new area.

It seems to me that you are both essentially saying the same thing.

5 gazettes = 5 mini settings = location for 50 1-shot adventures

No, there’s a regional gazette in the Heroes book that isn’t the same as the 5 mini settings. That gazette reportedly covers 10 regions of the world for players to familiarize themselves with the setting. The mini settings and the adventures are in the DMs book and are separate from this.

I think your understanding seems reasonable, however in the quotes fromt he article they brought up the "10 regions" (called "10 locales" in one of the writejps) specifically in regards to the 50 Adventjres. That, and the of the 10 Backgrounds ties to the regions, we have already seen they include Icewind Dale, Calimshan, the Moonshae Isles and the Dalelands specifically.

So basically the same kind of thing as the geography section of 4e FRCG & 3e FRSG.

I’m not saying the 5 mini settings won’t be touched on in the regional writeups. I’m saying the adventures aren’t tied to those regions, but the mini settings themselves from the DM book.

Chapters 2-6 of the book are the mini settings, with Baldur’s Gate being the 6th chapter, and chapter 7 is the intro adventure for levels 1-3.

One of the one-page adventures we got to briefly see was the Blood Night adventure they mentioned in the Game Informer write up. That adventure is on page 223, and it’s part of Chapter 6 aka Baldur’s Gate.

So the 50+ adventures are in the chapters with the mini settings. They are tied to those, not the overall regions. The backgrounds are tied to the regions.

Blood Night is on the left, and you can clearly make out the page number and chapter title in the bottom right corner of that page.
