D&D 5E (2014) Amazon US book sales rank.

It seems the Gaming section of Sci-fi & Fantasy is the lump area for all RPGs now (US Amazon)

PHB is #1, not a surprise.
Three official D&D books/sets are listed prior to any other RPG books (Lit RPG is strong)
15 overall is the first gaming book not from WotC - it's a 5e supplement.
16 is Daggerheart
22 is Warhammer 40k
The 2014 DMG is still in the top 50
76 is Call of Cthulhu from Chaosium
90 is Battletech
91 is Pathfinder
100 is Whitebox

Crooked Moon is the only 3pp 5e besides the Gamemasters Guide to blah blah series (with maybe a dozen appearances)

Whitebox showing up so high (and I assume Basic Fantasy as well) is an interesting artifact of who's on Amazon and who's not. Given the rather draconian rules imposed on those who sell through Amazon, it makes sense that a lot of RPGs don't show up there, except when a third party sells books they don't publish themselves. But it also means that Amazon, as big as it is, doesn't truly reflect what's happening in direct sales, Kickstarter, DriveThruRPG and itch, etc.

Not perfectly: the Stormlight Starter Set is not in that category.

The Monster Manual is Number One in "Game Pieces" which is mostly WotC D&D books or spare parts for chess sets, or marbles.

Again, I think when this thread started, the catagories were curated by humans, but arenow being operated by LLM. It would explain too much.
