Well, I will try. As I said in MetaDM's review, while I understand the importance of sound, I'm not good at recreating. So, if it's simple and easy, I might be able to make it work.

I will see if I can make this work for me.

Thanks!

I've been looking for a replacement for RPG Soundmixer for some time now (since that program is not supported in Windows 7), and I hate to jinx it- but this seems like it might be the one I've been looking for!

The one aspect I was hoping someone would improve on is with the use of hotkeys. RPG Soundmixer allowed you to turn on and off the ability to use hotkeys, however, from what I recall you could only assign one key hotkeys. So, if you were doing any typing (entering in initiative states, tracking hit points, etc.) you would have to remember to turn off hotkeys, and then remember to turn them back on afterwards. I was hoping that someone had improved on this by simply allowing you to enter in two key combination hotkeys (alt+1, ctrl+h, etc.) I see that RPG Atmosphere allows hotkeys, but the implementation is the same as RPG Soundmixer.

Anyway, I am going to be using this in an upcoming session, so I will definitely provide feedback after actually using it in play.

Yes. I am actively working on a review of this program to be out in a couple days. In the mean time, I recommend downloading this program and taking it for a spin. Then, you can rip me apart in the comments when my review comes out!

Hotkeys

Thanks for the replies and for trying it out :) In respect of the hotkeys, I've uploaded a new beta version with a change to the hotkeys. The application now detects when it is active and disables / enables the hotkeys appropriately, so you can use your other apps without fear that you'll trigger a war in RPG Atmosphere ;)
If you wish to temporarily turn the hotkeys on / off while RPG Atmosphere is active, for example while typing names for configurations etc there is a button on the Soundboard panel to do this also.

I've also fixed a couple of bugs with the interface which were stopped the random sounds panel showing :)

So the first thing I notice is that on my dual monitor setup, the window hangs halfway between the two screens and doesn't allow me to reposition or move it. If I switch over to the remote, I can move that frame, but nothing else.
