[AMBIENT] Everyone Else "Librum Ceteri"

[Vankleek Hill] Ambient Inc. is pleased to announce the next release in our d20 product line. Yes, before "Librum Equitis volume 3", even before the announced "Librum Ex Veritas: Domains of Divinity", we are releasing "Everyone Else" (known around the office as "Librum Ceteri" thanks to Hildulf in the ENworld chatroom), a book detailing NPCs for use in just about any fantasy setting. This book presents stat blocks and descriptions for over 80 archetype NPCs, each with FOUR different stat blocks (one for each of FOUR different experience levels). This product is the quintessential electronic product, designed for users to cut and paste the statblocks wherever they are needed for your games. When the party slips into a bar, exactly how good is the bouncer's intimidate check? or the barmaid's diplomacy? What is the Sense Motive base for the prince's seneschal? It is all here, along with guidelines and tips for using each character type, how to find them, and what they do when the PCs aren't around hassling them all day long. This 72-page PDF written by Richard Ruthman and Micheal S. Thibault will be available in mid-October via RPGnow.

Edit: FOUR stat blocks each... not three.... someone poke me with a wake-up stick occasionally, ok?... thanks!

Actually Khan, just switch the text select tool to the column text select tool, and it usually works fine for me for cut and paste.

I would consider dropping the 2 column design, but it makes the book almost unreadable.

So, no, we are sticking to a 2 column design with a very simple page layout / background, much like Librum Equitis volume 2.

As for price, I BELIEVE (this is NOT official, since I am not in charge of this aspect of the release) it will be retailing at $6.00

Wow, I didn't even know Acrobat offered a column text select tool -- I just figured the generic one offered was it. Thanks for the correction, as that will help me out considerably.

Well, forget what I asked then. :p

Tee-hee-hee.

:o

Must have been asleep at the wheel back there.
