An Autistic Barbie

So, I went to look up this history....

Ruth Handler invented the original Barbie doll.

Ruth had two kids, named - you guessed it - Barbara and Kenneth.

Ken Handler went into filmmaking, and eventually did get his own dream house, in Greenwich Village.

I totally forgot that the irony in my argument is that Barbie and Ken were named after siblings, XD .

Very cool they partnered with ASAN. It appears AS isn't as well liked by the community...

I'm not autistic. I don't know much about the community or any of the groups involved with it. I have heard negative things about Autism Speaks. I did see there are folks that didn't like this partnership. What I'm noticing is there will always be someone that doesn't like something and will be very vocal about it online. FWIW I think this is good move for Mattel regardless of who they partner with.
