Ok So I have some pregenerated landscapes from a program called Terragen. Anyway, with some messing in photoshop I produced this!

Pretty. A little static, though. I mean, it looks good, but as a stand-alone image it doesn't have a lot going on. Normal landscape paintings, like the kinda you'd buy and hang in your home, have a bit more activity, so that you can always find something new when you look at them.

I think thats all I picked the render for, I hadn't thought about it being a proper landscape. Plus to add detail, I'd need to add trees and rockers and things? I can't do that wit the program. Anything else I try I'll keep it in mind; thanks.

Ok heres a quick one, using a picture from france, and the cliffs and waves from my town I don't know if it has the focus Wickett talked about though.

Honestly, I like the staticy look of the first one better. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it feels like its got something going on in it because of the static type look.

Maybe it looks sceney? Anyway heres another I haven't a clue how it happened, it just did.
