Blackfire Rod: Like a corrupted Metamagic Rod which holds soul larvae. Each use consumes one larva, and has the effect of applying the Violated and Empowered Metamagic Feats to a spell with the [Fire] descriptor. Unlike a standard Metamagic Rod, the use of this Rod is not limited to a fixed number of daily uses. Re-loading the rod with larvae takes one full-round action per larva and attracts an AoO.

An "emblazed" spell stuns Undead within its area for 1 round (no save), affects ethereal and shadow creatures at full potency, and all damage done by the spell becomes of type Holy. Any spell with the [Good], [Fire] or [Light] descriptor can be "emblazed".
