Me and Jordan,
Because we are currently working on the FF Tactics campaign setting to run, but we are still holding weekly sessions, we are screwing around of sorts.
We stumbled on a strange way to DM... One of the players who was normally a character selected to DM, but eventually he sort of fell out of godhood slowly. Me and Jordan were basically leading a PC (goodies with me) vs. PC (Baddies with Jordan) fight. Five baddies versus me and two non-combat oriented characters.
The DM gave us each one wish, which is dumb in its own right, but it worked out fun. I picked an intelligent Holy Avenger sword. Its ego was 30 and my will save was +11 so it dominated most of my decisions. One of the baddies picked out a tank... what the hell? Not even normal sized, he wanted a colossal tank. With magic immunity and wand powered weapons that could use charges to fire a fireball, meteor, or delayed blast fireball.
Anyway the Way the DMing worked was anytime Jordan's team did something I would be the one to shoot down ideas and set DC's for them to roll. Jordan did the same for my party.
Anyway it was fun because everyone got to play, and there was no way to side with the DM since the other DM would still be there to keep rules in check.
