An Interesting Experience

"Yes, that is a good point, they may well try again, though It should be a while before they realize where you are. I think you can get there safely." James stood as they finished, and thanked the monks for the meal.

"Now, I'll head my way and you head to fight the giants. I'll keep you informed on anything I discover as soon as I discover it." He said as they moved towards the exit. "Is there anything else before we part company?"

Silvermoon

OOC: *checks spellbook* ;)

“We will stay in touch...” Silvermoon says, while standing up. She bows down towards the monks as a matter of thanking them for their hospitality before heading outside.

If necessary, she will prepare (summon) a few riding horses and her own shadowy steed and soon is ready to depart.

OOC: Still don't know how many - if any - mounts are needed.

"OK. Off we go. It will be a glorious battle, having all of you at my side. I'll ride my own horse. Good luck with the important stuff, James."

Silvermoon

“Master dwarf!” Silvermoon looks at the pack mule, while speaking to Granite. “She's surely a fine animal, but I don't think she will be able to keep up with our pace, especially with all that baggage on her back. Must be quite a burden to carry all that all the way.”

“I mean, couldn't you leave those... barrels... behind or something?”

*Granite raises one eyebrow at Silvermoon and turns slowly, deliberately.*

"I'll 'ave you know lass, that these barrels are full uv 'igh qual'ty ale. T' leave then be'ind would be sacrilage. Asides, it makes good cover. People always welcome an ale-seller, even armies. Now, if ye kin jest find me another beast to take part of the load, then Louella and I can go a bit fast then, eh?"

Silvermoon

Silvermoon sighs. “I would have expected no less. Horses are prepared for you already. They are waiting over there.”

The elf points to a small group of riding horses, ready with bit and bridle and a riding saddle.

Bye
Thanee

"Thankee lass," Granite says, then promptly goes into the stable to find a pack saddle. He'll carefully put one barrel of ale on the other horse, and add a couple saddlebags. He readjusted both harnesses so that they're balanced, then hooks the lead of the horse to Louella's saddle. "Now then, I kin walk as fast as they'll go, provided we aren't runnin', so let's be off then."

Silvermoon

Since everything has been said and prepared, Silvermoon mounts her shadowy steed and urges to depart.

Because her mount is a lot faster than the others, she will make use of that high speed and scout the vincinity every now and then, not straying too far, however.

*Granite walks briskly along, leading Louella and the other horse, who is named Drum. He thoughtfully taps into the barrel on Louella for a drink every now and then, taking in everything around him during the sips.*
