Another quick question: under their ability to Alter Self into drow form only, it doesn't say a times per day or anything; rather, it says it is used as the spell alter self, caster level being the AA level. So if he was 7th level, would he get to use it for 70 minutes a day? That's how I read it. Kinda sucks like that... but oh well.

That's how it works. Since there's no limit on the number of uses per day, it's still quite a useful ability.
