Well, progress on the Valley is going fine, and now we have a preview for all of you to see.

Enter the Valley of Frozen Tears, where nigh-impassible mountains surround a primeval land of both magic and terror. From the gateway city of Icewall to the scattered human villages of the forests and hills, mankind struggles to survive against the valley's deadly winters and vicious predators. Worse still, the hated blackblood orcs also dwell in the valley. These terrible monsters raid village after village, only to fade into the mountains when opposed with superior force.
But mankind has allies as well. The druids and rangers of the Compact have promised to protect the people of this land as best they can. But what is the Compact, and what dark secret does it hold?

The Valley of Frozen Tears is a drop-in setting for any fantasy RPG world.

This setting will contain everything you need to play in the valley, including new monsters native to the area and a full history of the region.

The art was good. I liked the borders. The font size starting with the River Fey was small and hard to read on screen though. Is that a scan? It seemed clearer and less choppy on the first two pages.

Actually, it is the same font, but I reduced the size from 12 point to 10 point on the creatures to keep them on one to two pages, instead of two to three. To be honest, it is very readable in print. Did 2 points of size differance change it that much?

Maybe it's due to the inconsistent font sizes? I am viewing on a 17 inch monitor set at 800 x 600, so my resolution is pretty decent.
