And Now for a taste of things to come.

On second thought, since there is a major issue with the editor under the fader they've been removed from being the default. You can test them by selecting "Scriptalicious Testing" from the Quick Style chooser in the footer.

Yep, it's only on one of the styles. You're currently using the style "Scriptalicious testing", but you can switch back to default.

Gah! That messed up new post page is already starting to drive me nuts! :)

On the bottom of every page there is "Click Here to revert to the normal default scheme."

Thanks!

Just for information, I've also found that the icon that used to lead you to view the "new posts" now only links you to the top of the page where new posts are occuring. Again, not a big deal. Just passing along info.

... errr, well, at least it used to when it was the default. I don't know if it does anymore now that it has been switched back.

Same here...top of the page with "new post", no longer going to the actual first new posts.

If it isn't going to work on most systems I can bypass putting in a couple hundred hours of work for what I have planned for this.

I have tested this thing out, and can honestly say that if it takes any longer than 15 minutes to implement this change, don't bother. This feature is in no way relevent to any content on Enworld, and has no real purpose that I can see.

FWIW, I'm the kind of person that runs XP with the Windows Classic setting, and turns off all of the fading and transparency options before I do anything else. A complete waste of system resources, if you ask me.

The Scriptaculous libraries are prewritten. Some of the bugs seem to be ironed out in the newer version I installed on the dev board. There are at least 2 new modules that use these transitions extensively.

For browser compatibility reasons there will be a turn off switch. I like the transitions though, that alone makes it worth my while to incorporate them.

EDIT: I've concluded the test by the way - the Scriptalicious Testing style is no longer selectable.
