Andromeda series 5

It's not exactly reset, as the number of universes they are dealing with are finite (seven, I think). They are trying to save one, some or all of those universes from being devoured by "the abyss." But there is a limit to the reset.

Don't take this as any sort of justification for the quality of the series, however.

The actress who plays Andromeda/Rommie is pregnant, so there won't be a Rommie walking around for the first half of the season. Apparently, in this reality, she couldn't be built yet. She'll still be the ship's AI, and will eventually show up with the actress' head on another actress' body for a while, until the real actress returns from childbirth.

The actress in question is Lexa Doig. As a fascinating geek fact, she's a gamer who at least used to play D&D.

Edit - just checked her site - she had a baby girl.

I'm just surprised anyone cares anymore. The show had gotten so bad that I couldn't suffer through an episode. Quite the fall for a show that was actually good in its first seasons. Short of taking Sorbo out back to the woodshed and beating him like a rented mule, I can't see any chance of this being watchable.

Yeah, it was really good up until about the middle of the 2nd season, then it slowly fell apart. A few good episodes after that, but mostly all trash. :(
