Angel DVD in N. America?

In North America, we're getting the 3rd season of Buffy on DVD in January. Any idea when we might be getting Season 1 of Angel?

Well, Angel season one ran the same time Buffy season four. So my guess would be we might see it when we see Buffy Season four, or hopefully summer 2003.

Now I thought that release of DVDs in america had to wait until a show was in syndication (Or the companies decided to wait for fear of loss of revenue) and syndication of shows could only be done when said show reached 100 episodes.

Has Angel reached 100 yet?

I think that's the reason it took so long to get the Buffy DVDs here in America.

The release of TV Season DVDs is at the whim of the studios and production companies that produce the series. For example, the first season of 24, which consists of only 24 episodes, is already out and the second season hasn't even started yet.
