Yes, bump... I am currently running the NPC that this applies to. However, he is quite a ways from 12th level where he could take Leadership, so it doesn't matter RIGHT now.
For a bit more background, the NPC at issue here is a 10th level human Druid with a penchant for fire. The animal companion is Fifi, the Wonder Poodle - without the fru-fru haircut. She is nasty in combat right now.
If Fifi were to be Awakened (which is almost certain), and become a cohort (less certain), I don't see too many options for her class. Barbarian, bard, cleric, monk, rogue, sorcerer and wizard are all possible, but unlikely. I could certainly see her as a fighter, druid, paladin (without the mount, although that would be amusing...) or ranger. Those all make sense within the context of the game and the party (Cleric, Druid, Monk, Archer/Wizard all serving the Holy Roman Church and taking the Divine Might of God (big G) to those nasties in the Temple of Elemental Evil).
Any other ideas or suggestions?
