Thanks. But do you mean these?

All I see one episode of Dragon Talk in the last few months. :

There’s a D&D Twitch channel at https://twitch.tv/dnd for the video recordings of the podcasts and the podcasts themselves are posted as articles somewhere on the D&D website because a Twitter D&D article aggregator I follow tweets links to them, if you don’t want to use the links to the audio podcast feeds above.

Interesting: suggests the end of the novel line might have some drama behind it.

Either way, it's kind of a bummer. Mixing Orcus with Illithids just seems like a lovely idea. I had kind of hoped they'd maybe elaborate on the storyline in some other venue. But so far, they don't seem to have any inclination to do so. I get it. They have moved on to other stories and don't want to confuse things. But man, I'd probably pick up a a DM's Guild supplement/adventure that added the Orcus plot.

Well, I'm only familiar with synopses, but IIRC isn't Asmodeus the real villain in the original Modron March, manipulating the Modrons for an advantage in the Blood War...?

Actually it was Orcus

If I'm not mistaken I think it was Orcus.

After my reading, it was totally Orcus as Tenebrous. Not only orchestrating an early March, but also the focal point of Dead Gods. With the way Out of the Abyss ended, maybe that could setup an attack on Orcus by Kiaransalee to kickstart these events.

Or, they could change it up. Maybe actually have Asmodeus do his own Modron March, possibly with Blackjack and/or hookers. We shall see what happens!

Supossedly Orcus ends up in a Mind Flayer city, transforms into undeath that city's elder brain an the mind flayers but that's about the extent of it's intervention in OotA

In Dead Gods, he does actually kill Maanzecorian, the illithid god of secrets. I'm not sure where exactly it would fit in with Out of the Abyss, I've only read the beginning and the end of the adventure.

Side notes: Great Modron March takes a detour through Undermountain, and Dead Gods takes players to the Vault of the Drow. I know there's a theory that a new March would go through Lantan, where are some good spots along the Great Wheel where this could make a good detour to draw in the PCs?
