Announcing Silverthorne Games (on the QT)

Greetings one and all! A hale and hearty "hello" from Silverthorne Games!

This message is to informally announce Silverthorne Games to the d20 publishers and other assorted browers on this board. We are looking forward to getting involved in the d20 arena and have several exciting projects in our product line-up for 2002. If you have a moment to spare, check out our website at www.silverthornegames.com. Any comments, feedback, and constructive criticism would be much appreciated.

Our first product, Races of Evernor, should be available end of Q1/early Q2 of 2002. This is a sourcebook that details in the neighborhood of forty (40!) new PC races (currently undergoing playtesting) for our Realms of Evernor campaign setting. Of course, the races may be hacked and mangled and adapted to any other setting available if you want to *just* use the races. We also have some other exciting things in the works. Again, feedback is appreciated.

And, Eric, Morrus, et al: no, we're not *quite* ready to be added to the d20 publisher guide just yet.

Cheers!

Ian-

Best of luck! Make sure you join the open game foundation lists to keep current on all the d20 issues.

Thanks, Clark.

It's always good to hear from one of the established "big boys" <G> - (Couldn't resist. Saw it on another board somewhere). Thanks for the pointers you've given us already through email. All hail Orcus! (Gnomes all bow in respect).

Cheers!

Mystic Eye & THG Hal:

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's always good to hear kind words of encouragement from others in the field.

Mystic Eye:
We will do both .PDF and print versions of our products. We are checking our budget to see if we'll lead off in print or not.

I see we made it to the front page of EN World, too. That's very cool, IMHO. Not sure if we're ready for that much exposure yet, but it's still very cool <G>

Thanks again &
Cheers!

<this is not a shameless bump - it is a bump with propriety>

I forgot to add, I've been on the OGF lists for quite some time. I will begin reading them with due diligence now that we're off the bench and on the playing field. Can never stay too informed of what's going on in the industry.

Cheers again!
Ian

Another Announcement

Okay, when I said "on the QT" -- forget all that :D

Our first effort will hit .PDF format (and hopefully be available through RPG Now) around March/April. We will release the races in three installments of 12 races for around $5.00 each (for those keeping score at home, that's less than $0.50 per race. The first will be called Races of Evernor I and it will begin extensive playtesting within the week. We're very excited about this product and hope to get some input from the rest of the EN World community out there. Races of Evernor II should be out around May/June and the third and final installment should be out by July/August.

Cheers!
