Another "blame it on D&D" story

There's a whole list of groups trying to find some aspect of her personality and use it as a hammer against other people who share that interest or trait. I can't go into details because it gets political, but its frustrating and shameful. Her motives seem crystal clear, and trying to obscure that in order to score points against your enemies is just sad.

Don't worry. Did you read the comments section? As far as I can tell people won't take this kind of reporting seriously.

It is annoying that they called the D&D group an 'egghead escape' in the article. Irresponsible reporting by a newspaper. I think the writer got appropriately slammed.

Let's be clear about this. It's not just Dungeons and Dragons that caused this murder, but the FOURTH edition in particular. This never would have happened if WotC had just kept updating 3.5. At least we have Pathfinder now, which personally saved my cat from a burning building. You know who set the fire? A copy of the 4e boxed set. Those things are evil.

People hate taking responsibility for their own actions, scapegoating is a favorite past time, and being right is serious business. If there is no incentive to, however small or large, people just won't.

Makes me sad to be a human being. It doesn't have to be that way, but overall human beings are freaking retards.
